Castilla y León approves its safety, health and well-being strategy 2024-2026
The Official Gazette of Castilla y León has published this week agreement 25/2024 of May 2, which approves the Safety, Health and Wellbeing Strategy for this Autonomous Community.
The strategy covers the time period 2024-2026 and establishes specific keys and instruments to reinforce interventions against workplace accidents, prioritizes the execution of individualized actions based on objective criteria, disseminates preventive culture as a transversal social element, promotes the concepts of positive safety and occupational well-being, especially in rural areas, and the negative effects of new forms of production and work organization in the field of the business fabric of this region.
The general objectives pursued are the following:
- Intervene in accidents in all sectors of activity with actions that generate changes in working conditions aimed at avoiding or minimizing occupational risks.
- Contextualize preventive actions to the characteristics of each province.
- Orient ORP towards positive health and occupational well-being and promote and disseminate the culture of prevention throughout society.
- Cooperate and collaborate between all active groups in matters of safety, health and well-being.
- Promote and develop safety, health and well-being in rural areas.
