Catalan Occupational Health and Safety Strategy 2021-2026

Last Tuesday, February 8, the Catalan Occupational Health and Safety Strategy was presented at the Catalan Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (ICSSL). 2021-2026____than______HTMLT AG11______intended respond to the needs that in terms of occupational health and safety must be faced in the coming years in this community autonomous.___ HTMLTAG30___

It has been approved within the framework of the Occupational Health and Safety Commission of the Labor Relations Council and agreed upon within the Occupational Health and Safety Commission of said council, as the body of social representation of the workplace in Catalonia, where the Administration of the Generalitat and the most representative employers' associations and unions are located.

The main objectives of it are:

• Improving the management and quality of occupational risk prevention.
• The reduction of workplace accidents.
• The improvement of working conditions and the promotion of preventive culture.
• The promotion and qualitative improvement of training in prevention.
• The promotion of health and healthy habits at work.
• The investigation and search for the most prevalent and/or emerging risks.
• The improvement of work-related information systems.
• The improvement of the coordination and participation of the agents involved in occupational health and safety.
• The inclusion of the gender perspective in all preventive activities and special attention to vulnerable groups.
