Choose the Pair Well

The National Institute of Safety and Health at Work (INSST) has recently published the triptych entitled: "Choose the pair well", which focuses on the requirements established in the standards and regulations applicable to footwear as personal protective equipment for feet and legs.

In particular, it refers to the protection requirements based on the risks against which it protects, also including aspects to consider to take into account in the selection and use.

Footwear for professional use is intended to offer protection against the risks derived from carrying out a work activity, therefore the selection of the most appropriate footwear will be carried out based on the risk assessment and will require, in any case, extensive knowledge of the workplace and its environment, as well as the anatomical and physiological conditions and the person's state of health.
