Civil Society

Contract by which two or more people agree to pool money, goods or industry, with the aim of distributing the profits among themselves. It can have its own legal personality unless its agreements are kept secret between the partners and each one contracts in their own name against third parties. In general, the partners are liable for corporate debts on a personal, unlimited, subsidiary and joint basis, without prejudice to the particularities applicable when the civil society acts with a commercial purpose.
