#CodoACodo with people with disabilities on their International Day (December 3)

On June 11, 2019, the UN launched ___United Nations Strategy for the Inclusion of Disability, in line with the entity's commitment to being an inclusive organization for all. In this context, it was agreed to hold an international day dedicated to people with disabilities.

Historically marginalized and socially relegated, it is necessary to redouble efforts for people with different abilities, through inclusive strategies in favor of the full and complete realization of the human rights of all people with disabilities. disability, an inalienable, inseparable and indivisible component of all human rights and fundamental freedoms.

In Their jobs are mostly in the administrative field (34 people) while 18 were in the health field (18 people). These people constituted 2.46% of the total workforce at the end of the year; A figure that, beyond complying with the General Law on the rights of people with disabilities and their social inclusion, confirms the Mutual Association's desire for inclusion.

Fraternidad-Muprespa commemorates this anniversary by giving visibility to the commitment that it has maintained since 2017 with the Inserta Forum of the Once Foundation to benefit the quality of life of people with disabilities and the promotion of the related Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Inserta Forum is made up of entities that, like Fraternidad-Muprespa, implement responsible practices for the inclusion of people with disabilities in their templates.

This year the motto that the Inserta Forum carries is shoulder to shoulder, for the effort that the signatory entities have made, so that almost 37,000 people with disabilities have found a job.

Side by side Fraternidad-Muprespa will continue with the commitment to normalize the lives of many people with disabilities and collaborate in the achievement of the following Sustainable Development Goals: SDG 4 on inclusive and quality education; SDG 8 on economic growth, full employment and decent work; SDG 10 on reducing inequalities and, finally, SDG 17 on implementation of the Agenda and the necessary alliances.
