Conference on Vision Zero in Agriculture

Vision Zero _ is the global campaign of the International Social Security Association (ISSA) in favor of zero accidents, illnesses and injuries at work, in which Fraternidad-Muprespa actively participates, seeking to promote preventive culture in organizations.

The National Institute of Safety and Health at Work (INSST) is organizing a virtual technical conference on November 25 with the title: "Vision Zero in the agricultural sector" which will have the following program:

  • 09:30 h opening of the day by _Pilar Cáceres, director of the National Center for Protection Means (CNMP) of the INSST.
  • 09:35 h Vision Zero talk: a global prevention movement withHans-Horst Konkolewsky, ambassador of Vision Zero.
  • 10:00 h talk Vision Zero: guide for farmers and agricultural holdings with Esperanza Valero, head of the technical unit for prevention management and ergonomics of the CNMP - INSST.
  • 10:20 h talk on the Implementation of the Vision Zero strategy in the agricultural sector, with Isaac Abril, director of the department of working conditions in the agricultural and maritime fishing sector of the CNMP-INSST.
  • 10:40 h Colloquium and closing of the day.

The INSST, as a member of the International Social Security Association, participated in the section on prevention in different subjects, and specifically for the agriculture sector, it translated two guides on Vision Zero aimed both at private farmers and farms.
