The National Institute of Safety and Health at Work (INSST) has recently published the prevention technical note number 1,165 entitled: "Teleworking, criteria for its integration into the OSH management system".

The management of the prevention of occupational risks associated with the teleworking modality requires some nuances to be able to be effectively integrated into the company's prevention system. The current regulatory regulation of this way of organizing work has motivated the preparation of this document whose main objective is to facilitate the identification of the differential elements of teleworking in order to integrate its management as another activity within the preventive system.

Likewise, a review is made of the preventive regulations that apply to this activity as well as the most relevant characteristics of teleworking that may affect the health of the personnel who carry out it. Regarding its scope, the technical content of this document is useful for the entire group of working personnel who are affected by Law 31/1995, of November 8, on the Prevention of Occupational Risks, including personnel at the service of public administrations.
