Fraternidad-Muprespa has successfully held the VII edition of its Workplace Road Safety Week in 2024, reaffirming its commitment to the prevention of traffic accidents in the workplace. This annual event, held within the framework of World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, has generated a significant impact thanks to various activities and strategic collaborations. According to recent INSST data from 2023, traffic accidents represent 11.7% of work-related accidents with sick leave, and 29.7% of fatal accidents are traffic-related.
The final balance of this edition has been very positive: 18 actions with more than 400 direct attendees, the participation of 24 speakers from organizations such as the General Directorate of Traffic, AESLEME, INFOVA AUTOMOTION/ Champions for Safety, MOVIAM, Foundation CNAE, the expert witness Miryam Moya and the paralympic medalist Dani Molina. In Jaén, the meetings focused on individual and collective responsibility in road safety, while in Cádiz the implications and responsibilities of companies in the management of safe mobility were addressed.
One of the most inspiring moments was the Fratertalks starring Dani Molina, gold medalist at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, who shared his personal experience on the perception of road risk and the importance of adopting safe habits in everyday mobility.
The commitment to innovation was also present through virtual reality workshops, in which 1,800 participants lived immersive experiences that allowed them to identify and prevent risks both as drivers and pedestrians..
In the field of communication, the mutual fund disseminated 75 audiovisual content in hospitals and waiting rooms, in addition to generating publications on social networks that reached around 28,000 impressions. Likewise, specific campaigns were carried out that captured the attention of the media, achieving 34 mentions in the regional and national press.
