Effects of noise on professionals in leisure and music events
On Tuesday, May 31, organized by the Regional Institute of Safety and Health at Work of Madrid (IRRST) and in collaboration with Fraternidad-Muprespa, a conference will be held in videoconference format that will be titled: "The effect of noise on professionals in leisure and music events" and which will feature with the presence of our Prevention Consultant in the Balearic Islands, Rafael Reyes Moreno.
There are many and varied work activities where noise levels are harmful, not only construction and factories, but also in many others such as bars, concert halls, workshops, classrooms, etc. and it affects different professionals such as musicians and call center staff among others, which is why it is essential to propose a comprehensive approach to noise management, reviewing the consequences of its exposure and how to carry out an adequate evaluation and prevention depending on the type of noise. activity.
In this session, the risks and preventive measures will be analyzed to avoid damage to the health of professionals at leisure and music events, where it is necessary to increase the preventive culture of all the companies involved, both the main and direct ones in the execution and in the auxiliary fabric.
Rafael Reyes will speak from 11:00 a.m. in the talk titled: "Reference regulations, hygienic assessment of the risk of exposure to noise and importance of health damage in the leisure and music sector", together with Pablo Simonet, IRSST prevention technician.
