ELECTRONIC GUESTBOOK OF THE LABOR AND SOCIAL SECURITY INSPECTION.

Resolution of November 25, 2008 on the electronic Guest Book of the Labor and Social Security Inspection.

The main provisions of the resolution, which comes into force on December 3, 2008, are:

• The companies and self-employed workers who must have the Visitor's Book of the Labor and Social Security Inspection in their workplaces,may request the replacement of said obligation by registering in the electronic Guest Book computer application.. Whose authorization corresponds to granting it to the Central Authority of the Labor and Social Security Inspection.


• To obtain authorization for the use of the electronic Guest Book, it must be proven that each work center, in which the conventional Guest Book is replaced by the application of the electronic Guest Book, has at least one personal computer with a smart card reader device with enabled access, via the Internet, to the electronic Guest Book application.


• Companies and self-employed workers authorized to use the electronic Guest Book application will request the assignment of electronic Guest Books to their work centers, maintain the information of their users, consult the content of the procedures carried out and request deregistration from the electronic Guest Book through the application itself.through the use of an electronic certificate recognized by the @firma platform of the Ministry of Public Administrations.


• Requests for authorization must be made through the Provincial Labor and Social Security Inspection corresponding to the province where the company's registered office is located or before the Special Directorate of the Inspection, attached to the Central Authority.


• The application model is available on the WEB of the Labor and Social Security Inspection http://www.mtin.es/itss.


• The cancellation of the company or self-employed worker in the electronic Guest Book will occur automatically when requesting the cancellation of the last active electronic Guest Book.
