Emotional impact of COVID-19 on workers.
Departamento de Prevención y Desarrollo de Cultura de la Salud.
We invite you to our next webinar in which we will discuss the emotional impact of Covid on workers.
We are suffering the second (or third) wave of COVID and the WHO has already given a name to that exhaustion, feeling of helplessness, or concern that many people may be feeling right now.
Covid is not only threatening our physical health or our economy, it is also causing great harm to our mental health. WHO experts have already warned about this, calling this situation “PANDEMIC FATIGUE.”
Many workers are beginning to suffer exhaustion, a feeling of helplessness, worry, lack of sleep or appetite, apathy, concentration difficulties, among other effects.
A state of mind that is given by the fear of contagion, the increase in negative news, the lack of contact with our environment or the uncertainty in the face of such a changing situation. These factors represent a symptomatology that is related more to mental and psychological fatigue than to physical fatigue.
There are many factors that we cannot control in this situation, but today we are going to see first why we feel, we already feel that we have emotions, something innate in human beings, we have to be aware of them and recognize them.
We will see the emotions and moods that COVID 19 has caused us, through examples of real people and we will give keys and tools to better cope with this situation.
