Ergonomic aspects and other risk factors derived from the use of robots, exoskeletons and drones
The INSST has recently published a new brochure entitled: "Introduction to ergonomic aspects and other risk factors derived from the use of robots, exoskeletons and drones".
Technological devices and equipment developed in industry 4.0, such as robots, exoskeletons and drones, can be useful tools to help prevent or reduce the risks, among others, of developing MSDs. But we must also take into account that its use may entail new risks. These risks must be evaluated and subsequently, by adopting appropriate measures, eliminated or reduced to an acceptable level.
This information brochure collects information related to the new technological devices that are currently used to prevent ergonomic risks. Its main objective is to publicize these new devices, in addition to the risks they may cause and the preventive measures necessary to eliminate or reduce these risks. It is structured in four chapters and subdivided, three of them, into several sections.
On our website Previene we have numerous audiovisual material that we encourage you to consult in the different manual sections, brochures or videos where we offer a vision of the risks that may exist in the work environment in a general and specific way.
