European Agency campaign on dangerous substances

The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work has recently presented two new products to support the campaign “Healthy jobs: alert against hazardous substances”.

First of all, they have developed an interactive infographic that allows users to discover figures and data on the risks posed by dangerous substances for workers and the advantages of managing these risks. Its presentation makes it easy to use and contains important information such as the dangers of carcinogens in the workplace and the risks to which certain groups of workers are exposed.

They also publish the information sheet: "Practical tools and guides on hazardous substances in the workplace." The document describes and links to many existing tools from a database that can be used to effectively manage occupational health and safety. It also offers advice on the tools and guidance available to help businesses and workers manage the risks posed by hazardous substances in the workplace.
