Fire safety in industrial establishments

The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism has published this year 2019 a new edition of the Technical Guide for the application of the Fire safety regulations in establishments industrial.

It is the responsibility of the competent ministry in this matter to prepare and keep updated a non-binding technical guide for the practical application of the provisions of the regulation and its appendices technical.

Therefore complying with said provision, in this new edition of the guide some of the clarifications of the document are updated and among them it is worth highlighting that a clarification is updated to eliminate the reference to car rental parking lots, the clarification on independent fire sectors is improved and also on explanatory tables, changes in typologies of industrial warehouses and the maximum length of evacuation routes.

Other changes have been the elimination of some obsolete clarifications mentioning the existence of new legislation such as RD 513/2017, of May 22 (RIPCI) that repeals and replaces the previous one.
