The European Business Survey on New and Emerging Risks (ESENER), conducted by the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work, analyzes how European workplaces manage occupational health and safety risks in practice.

With the participation of thousands of companies and organizations across Europe, the survey aims to cover psychosocial risks, digitalisation, as well as drivers and barriers to health and safety management, and provide information on how workers' involvement in OSH-related matters could improve working conditions in the EU.

The main field work for the fourth edition of ESENER begins at the end of May 2024, and will last until October 2024 and during this period more than 40,000 companies and entities of all sizes and sectors of activity in 30 countries will be interviewed.  Once the data has been analyzed, the first results of ESENER 2024 will be published in early 2025.
