Fraternidad-Muprespa and the MCSS have managed 2,000,000 CATA requests and paid 5,000 million euros

The Social Security Collaborating Mutual Insurance Companies (MCSS), according to data provided by AMAT (Association of Work Accident Mutual Insurance Companies), have processed since the beginning of the State of Alarm until the end of last year,2,153,481 requests for extraordinary benefits cessation of activity or reduction of income, which have meant a total payment of 5 billion euros.

Fraternidad-Muprespa has managed the aforementioned total,131.707 requests, and has paid a total of 308,788,707 euros. He 94 percent of requests presented to the Mutual have been accepted.

The benefit that has been most requested from the Mutual Fund has been PECATA with a total of 92,444 applications and a payment of 234,950,716 euros; the next,POECATA, with 9,127 benefits recognized with an amount of 25.703.034 € and thirdly the PROPOECATA with 8,356 applications processed and an amount of 21,752,060 euros.

Fraternidad-Muprespa and the rest of the mutual insurance companies, we continue to process and pay these extraordinary benefits as well as the new ones that have been reflected in RDL 2/2021, knowing that our duty is to cure, process and pay the Social Security benefits that apply to us under current legislation.
