Fraternidad-Muprespa delivers the Zero Accident Distinction to thirty companies in Granada
The Center for Occupational Risk Prevention of Granada hosted this Thursday the 11th the ceremony for the delivery of the Zero Accident Distinctions, in which
The event was attended by José Javier Martín Cañizares, Territorial Employment Delegate of the Junta de Andalucía in Granada, and Fernando Lazúen, director of the Center, and responsible for the welcome and institutional opening of the day.
Andrés Ruiz, director of Fraternidad-Muprespa in Granada, highlighted that achieving such long periods of time without accidents “is not the result of chance, but of daily commitment, perseverance and shared responsibility at all levels of an organization, a milestone that demonstrates that the prevention of occupational risks is not a simple legal requirement, but a true investment,” he assured. “In this work,” he added, “Fraternidad-Muprespa is here to accompany you.” He also stated that “a company that is committed to occupational health and safety is also committed to its future.”
Martín Cañizares congratulated the 34 Granada companies that deserved the distinction since “their example highlights their dedication and responsibility, and shows that it is possible to make economic activity compatible with preventive commitment and protection of their workers.” Likewise, he vindicated the value of this initiative “which not only recognizes past merits, but also acts as a stimulus for the entire business community of Granada and Andalusia: a clear reminder that security is a shared responsibility.”
“From the Department of Employment, Business and Self-Employment of the Government of Andalusia,” he added, “we fully share this philosophy of prevention and we have intensified our actions in this regard in Granada through the Center for the Prevention of Occupational Risks”, a body for technical support and promotion of preventive culture that works with the collaboration of social, union and business agents.
