Fraternidad-Muprespa increases social aid by 80% compared to the previous year

The Special Benefits Commission of the Mutual Collaborator with Social Security granted last year 2,353,424 euros, increasing its amount by almost 80% more, compared to those granted in 2016.

Fraternidad-Muprespa has awarded a total of 1,793 aid social, for an amount of 2.353.424 euros, through its Special Benefits Commission, attending to a 117% more applications than in the previous year.

They stand out for their amount:182 study aids,668 for companion expenses,203 home help,47 for technical aids,29 for housing adaptation and so on until almost completing the almost 1.800.

It is the purpose of the Entity to disseminate and promote the granting of this type of aid. They are granted through the Special Benefits Commission, a joint participation body, in order to alleviate specific situations of special need, to workers who have suffered a work accident or an occupational disease. There is a catalog that covers a wide range of situations.

It pays special attention to cases of disability, as well as to family members or similar persons of workers who lack the means to deal with these circumstances.

These aid complement the benefits guaranteed by the Social Security system.

The aid is granted from the social assistance reserve, which was established in the Mutual Insurance Law, providing 10% of the annual surpluses of professional contingencies obtained by the Entity, after the provision of the legal reserves.
