Fratertalks 18: Optimizing occupational health with LEAN SAFETY, with Dolores Rico and Ignacio Cabo
Now that the new year has just begun, a time in which we usually plan and establish the objectives to achieve in prevention during the next 12 months, there is nothing like knowing a philosophy that will help us optimize the improvement of the preventive culture in the company: LEAN SAFETY.
How many tasks in our daily lives truly add value? How many occupational safety tasks could be done in a much more agile way? What if we could dedicate all our efforts to what really causes workplace accidents?
This innovative way of thinking and doing in prevention is focused on the continuous improvement and enhancement of occupational health and safety, allowing the elimination of tasks that do not provide added value, which in Lean language is called “waste or "dumb".
That is the key to Lean Safety, helping us to be more efficient and effective in ORP management, having more resources available to dedicate to what is truly important: reducing workplace accidents.
If you want to learn more about the Lean Safety universe, we invite you to the next Fratertalk that we will hold next January 28 at 10am and which will be titled “Optimizing occupational health with LEAN SAFETY”, where we will talk with two experts who have applied this concept such as Dolores Rico, consultant and promoter in occupational safety, health and well-being and Ignacio Cabo, health and safety manager and continuous improvement at Ontex.
