General Plan of Preventive Activities to be applied by Mutual Insurance Companies in 2022
The Official State Gazette of on May 7th has published the Resolution of April 29, 2022, of the Secretary of State for Social Security and Pensions, which establishes the general planning of the preventive activities of Social Security to be carried out by mutual collaborators with Social Security in their activity plans for the year 2022.
In accordance with the provisions of article 4.2 of Royal Decree 860/2018, of July 13, which regulates the preventive activities of the Social Security protective action to be carried out by the Mutual Insurance Companies collaborating with Social Security, it is up to the Secretary of State for Social Security and Pensions to periodically plan for the development of such activities, which are detailed in this resolution.
This standard includes the preventive Social Security activities that the Collaborating Mutual Insurance Companies must carry out during the year 2022 by establishing the criteria and priorities that must govern the execution of these activities and that will preferably be aimed at small companies, as well as in the companies and sectors with the highest accident rate in the year 2021 and which will mainly be advisory, dissemination, awareness-raising and research, development and innovation actions in the field of prevention of work accidents and occupational diseases.
During the year 2022, the Social Security Collaborating Mutual Funds will develop the activity programs listed below:
- Technical advisory program for SMEs and companies in preferred sectors
- Advice program for companies or concurrent activities
- Dissemination program of the Social Security service called “Prevención10.es”
- Advisory program in companies with less than 50 workers for the adaptation of jobs and structures for the relocation of injured workers or with pathologies of professional origin
- Actions to control and, where appropriate, reduce work accidents and occupational diseases
- Research, development and innovation activities to reduce professional contingencies
