General Planning of Preventive Activities to be applied by Mutual Insurance Companies in 2023
The Official State Gazette of on November 17 has published the Resolution of November 7, 2022, of the Secretary of State for Social Security and Pensions, by which the general planning of the preventive Social Security activities to be carried out by the Collaborating Mutual Insurance Companies with the Social Security established for 2022 in the Resolution of April 29, 2022.
In accordance with the provisions of article 4.2 of Royal Decree 860/2018, of July 13, which regulates the preventive activities of the Social Security protective action to be carried out by Mutual Insurance Companies, the periodic planning for the development of such activities is the responsibility of the Secretary of State for Social Security and Pensions.
Taking into account, on the one hand, the time elapsed in the year 2022 since the establishment of the planning of such preventive activities to be carried out in the current year, and on the other, that the preventive activities plan for 2022 includes all the activities contemplated in article 2 of the aforementioned Royal Decree 860/2018, of July 13, it is considered appropriate to extend the plan currently to 2023 current.
The resolution therefore establishes the extension for the next year of the general planning of the preventive activities to be carried out by the Mutual Collaborators with Social Security, in accordance with what is indicated in the Resolution of April 29, 2022 of the Secretary of State for Social Security, and with the corresponding particularities that may arise derived from the fact that the activities to be carried out and the forecasts for their execution must refer to the next year. 2023.
When this regulatory extension is established, the Mutual Collaborators with the Social Security will develop the activity programs listed below:
- Technical advisory program for SMEs and companies in preferred sectors
- Advice program for companies or concurrent activities
- Program to disseminate the service called “Prevención10.es”
- Advisory program in companies with less than 50 workers for the adaptation of jobs and structures for the relocation of injured workers or with pathologies of professional origin
- Actions to control and, where appropriate, reduce work accidents and occupational diseases
- Research, development and innovation activities to reduce professional contingencies
