The INSST has recently published the update of the document: "Guidelines for effective coordination of business activities".

This document aims to establish basic guidelines that allow the coordination of business activities (CAE) to be carried out efficiently, so that the risks derived from the concurrence of business activities are truly controlled. To this end, the CAE must be considered as a process that must adapt to the nature and structure of the organization and each scenario that may arise.

Includes a first part in which the intervening figures are identified and the description of the obligations that correspond to each of them depending on the circumstances that arise.

In a second part, each of the four stages of which the process consists is analyzed and criteria are provided for the effective fulfillment of the actions to be carried out in each of them and for selecting the means of coordination that may be most useful depending on the different scenarios that may arise. To illustrate this, a practical example is included for each of the indicated stages referring to different situations that may arise.
