Health advice guide on occupational road safety
Last week, the presentation of the renewed: "Guide to health advice on occupational road safety" took place at the headquarters of the General Directorate of Traffic in Madrid, which was carried out by the publication's coordinator, Teresa Lascorz, and attended by its three authors, Marta Ozcoidi, Enrique Mirabet and Elena Valdés.
This is a renewed version of the guide that was prepared for the first time in 2010, a fundamental consultation document for health professionals, which needed to be updated since in these years there have been numerous advances, both in traffic medicine and at a regulatory level, especially with changes in Annex IV of the General Regulations for Drivers.
The objective of the document, as was that of its predecessor guide, is to provide health professionals with an easy-to-use consultation tool, with clear and concise information, to be able to detect road risk factors that can influence driving and, therefore, road safety.
