Yesterday, Sunday, March 8, International Women's Day was celebrated and to remember the historical struggle of women for equal rights, justice and peace.

Taking advantage of this date we want to recover an interesting document prepared by the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality entitled:"Support tool No. 10: Occupational health and occupational risks with a gender perspective" which was part of a series of documents called support tools for the implementation of Equality Plans in companies, are part of the Advisory Service for Equality Plans and Measures in Companies, which is offered through the website www.igualdadenlaempresa.es, and as its name indicates, its purpose is to provide guidelines for companies to evaluate their own management resources, from the perspective of equality between women and men.

Starting from the previous consideration that occupational safety and health for working women constitute a fundamental right, in this Support Tool No. 10 where we focus on occupational health and risks, we will verify that it is necessary to integrate the gender perspective in the analysis of health, taking into account the irreversible damage that the combination of work with other non-work factors that sometimes interact with each other to enhance occupational risks causes.
