INSST reports on accidents in Spain

The INSST has recently published reports on work accidents that occurred in Spain in 2023, the accident rate of workers assigned by temporary employment companies and priority activities based on the accident rate.

With these reports, issued annually, the aim is to offer detailed information on work accidents, occupations that are especially dangerous for occupational health and safety, as well as detect the most vulnerable groups of workers.

The report: "Priority activities based on accidents. Data for 2023" focuses on the prioritization of economic activities based on two parameters such as the ATJT incidence rate and the number of workers who carry out their work in a specific activity.

The report titled. "Accidents of workers assigned by temporary employment companies. Data 2023" carries out a descriptive analysis of various variables in the work accident report, in order to provide an approximation to the profile of the accident suffered by workers assigned by Temporary Employment Companies throughout 2023.

Finally, the work: "Annual report on work accidents in Spain. Data 2023" collects data on annual accidents, highlighting that in our country, during the year 2023, 647,495 work accidents with sick leave were recorded, of which the majority occurred during the working day, specifically 558,936 accidents, which They represent 86.3%. The rest, 88,559 accidents, took place during the journey from home to work or vice versa; These are what are called work accidents with sick leave.
