INSST Strategic Plan 2022-2026
The National Institute for Safety and Health at Work (INSST) has just presented its Strategic Plan 2022-2026, designed as a decisive tool to strengthen its institution, and which they have carried out with the purpose of consolidating its role as a reference scientific-technical organization in the field of occupational health and safety.
The Strategic Plan is conceived as an instrument endowed with dynamism, which aims to adapt to circumstances through continuous monitoring that responds to the needs and demands of society and that will be valid for 5 years.
TheINSST as scientific-technical body attached to the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy develops a series of tasks focused on collecting and generating updated knowledge in prevention of occupational risks to achieve the improvement of safety and health conditions in the working population in Spain.
The plan highlights the importance of safety and health at work, with the aim of reducing accidents and occupational diseases and improving the safety conditions of workers, creating safe and healthy work environments and highlights the commitment of the INSST Management to dedicate itself intensely to the fulfillment of these objectives, for which they will seek alliances and synergies with other institutions that share the same values.
