This act is part of the project “Talentia 360. Women Managers"organized by the School of Industrial Organization and financed by Women's Institute.

This is a project that, in its 12 editions, has had a total of 375 students, whose main objective is to enhance the management skills of professional women and encourage their promotion to positions of greater responsibility, with the commitment of their companies of origin. In this edition 25 new directives have been incorporated into the project.

Natalia Fdez. Laviada, Deputy Director General of Prevention, Quality and Communication, has offered a motivational conference in which she highlighted that leadership is an agent of change that makes visible and recognizes talent, male or female, although it is necessary to focus on areas where historically the management female has been underrepresented.

He has also pointed out that equality in the work environment is not only an ethical issue, but a key factor for business success, since inclusive companies tend to be healthier, innovative, productive and sustainable over time.

Corporate culture must ensure that there are safe and open spaces for women to express their concerns, propose solutions and actively participate in decision-making, through the implementation of policies and monitoring their effectiveness. It is essential a leadership that takes care of these aspects and contributes to eliminating stereotypes”, he expressed.

He has also explained that leadership is one of the misnamed 'soft skills’ fundamental to any organization, from small businesses to large corporations, and plays a key role in their success and performance.

"Being an effective and diverse leader involves much more than simply giving orders and expecting them to be followed. An effective leader must be able to inspire and motivate his team, he must be able to communicate clearly and listen, as well as make important decisions in difficult situations."

Finally, he concluded that leadership is increasingly necessary to face and overcome challenges in today's business environment.
