New edition of the INSST Technical Guide on work on board fishing vessels

The INSST has recently published an update of the: "Technical guide for the evaluation and prevention of risks related to the use of fishing vessels".HTMLTAG3___

This is the third revision of the guide and in this edition, in addition to the updated comments for the application of Royal Decree 1216/1997, of July 18, criteria and technical information are incorporated with the aim of facilitating compliance with the Royal Decree 618/2020, of June 30, which establishes improvements in working conditions in the fishing sector. 

The document is structured in two large blocks, including the considerations or clarifications pertinent to the aforementioned Royal Decrees, taking into account the regulations on maritime safety due to its influence in the field of occupational risk prevention. It also includes an appendix detailing the controls that public administrations carry out on fishing vessels and which include aspects related to occupational health and safety.
