New infographics with statistical data on work accidents in Spain
The National Institute for Safety and Health at Work (INSST) has recently presented three new infographics with statistical data on work accidents in our country that synthesize the information collected in the Report on work accidents with sick leave for 2021 published by this organization.
In the first of them titled: "Work accidents with sick leave during the work day" are presented through graphics and in a simplified manner, the data on work accidents during the work day (ATJT) that occurred in the year 2021 according to the form, sex, age and severity. Thus we can see that the majority of accidents, 32%, occurred due to overexertion, followed by hits against objects and collisions with moving objects. On the other hand, men have more accidents than women, with the youngest being the ones with the highest incidence rate.
The second of the infographics is titled: "Potential years of life lost due to a work accident" collects in a simplified way the data on the potential years of life lost (YPLL) due to a work accident during the year 2021, separated by traffic accidents and traumatic and non-traumatic pathologies.
The third titled: "Work accidents during work hours according to sectors and type of contract" contains graphics and in a simplified manner the data on work accidents during work hours that occurred in 2021 according to sector and type of contract.
