The most important definitions and concepts related to the causal link were raised, which were subsequently developed and complemented by the rest of the speakers. In addition, health criteria were distinguished, which allow us to discern whether there is a direct relationship between work activity and the pathology presented. These include the absence of an objective injury or acute clinical findings, the lack of triggering trauma, the insufficient intensity of the injury mechanism, the chronological and topographical criteria, and the existence of causal factors unrelated to work, such as common diseases such as appendicitis or discomfort due to non-specific daily gestures.

Non-health criteria were also considered, such as accidents in itinere, interruptions in the day, professional imprudence, and situations such as suicide or alcoholism, where the analysis of intentionality, responsibility and context are key to determining the work nature of the event.

Regarding teleworking, it was indicated that the regulations are still being developed, so the criteria applicable in these cases are provisional and subject to interpretation, especially with regard to the delimitation of the time and place of work, and the traceability of the event.

As for the rest of the participants, Ana Bonilla, from MAZ, addressed the topic of "The abandonment of treatment by the patient." For his part, José Luis Velázquez, from Fremap, presented the presentation "Third party intervention during and after treatment." Paloma Teixidó, from Mutua universal, spoke on "Clinical History". Also participating were Juan Manuel González, from MC-Mutual, who presented his presentation "Methodology for preparing the medical report." And José Miguel Oltra, from Asepeyo, who closed the webinar with his presentation "Permanent Disability. Types. Correct assessment of the patient in the world of work."
