"The golden hour" is what the 60 minutes following a traffic accident are called, a key period that can mean the difference between life and death.

Fraternidad-Muprespa, together with the General Directorate of Traffic and the Cantabrian Institute of Safety and Health (ICASST), organized this Tuesday an “scape room”, a participatory experience to strengthen decision-making and teamwork, in the face of a road accident, which took place at the DGT headquarters in Cantabria.

The plot takes place at the scene of a traffic accident in which four rescue groups intervene: Civil Guard, health workers, firefighters and civil personnel. Each of them is made up of five people and they have those 60 minutes, their 'golden hour', as the limit time to save María, the mannequin-victim, from a motorcycle accident.

Using the game as a learning tool, participants are immersed in a motivating and fun experience, which encourages collaboration and teamwork.” declared Ricardo Alonso, Prevention consultant for Fraternidad-Muprespa in Cantabria and presenter of the session.
