Occupational Health and Safety Strategy 2024-2028 of the Region of Murcia

The Region of Murcia has presented this year its Occupational Health and Safety Strategy 2024-2028, which is constituted as an action plan whose objective is to serve as a useful framework of reference for the actions carried out in prevention over the next five years.

This strategy is the result of dialogue and teamwork of professionals belonging to the most representative trade union and business organizations of this autonomous community, who have also been joined by technicians from the regional administration.

Based on a very detailed analysis of the workplace accident rate in the region in the period 2018-2022, the strategy is made up of seven specific objectives, six lines of action and 120 actions aimed at safeguarding the safety and health of workers through the continuous improvement of working conditions, the integration of the preventive culture at all levels of the company and the necessary involvement of society as a whole. The work has also been prepared taking into account the Spanish occupational health and safety guidelines 2023-2027 and the strategic framework of the European Union on occupational health and safety 2021-2027.
