Occupational risks in the grape harvest
We are beginning the harvest season, which from mid-August until well into October is carried out in all regions of our country, an activity that involves the collection or harvesting of grapes, generally referring to those that will be used for the production of wine or liquor and which implies a series of occupational risks that must be taken into consideration.
For this reason today we want to remember an interesting triptych prepared by the Basque Institute of Occupational Health and Safety (OSALAN) titled How to prevent occupational risks in the grape harvest.
The objective of the document is to reflect some of the most important risks present in the harvest activity such as falls at different levels, cuts, projections or postural fatigue and to indicate the appropriate preventive measures to minimize them.
At Fraternidad-Muprespa we work to disseminate a culture of prevention with the aim of reducing the accident rate of our mutualists and therefore we encourage you to discover our web portal dedicated to the prevention of occupational risks and the development of a culture of health Previene where you can find interesting informative material with entertaining and specialized content.
