The term 'prevention' is very internalized in the language of the Mutual Collaborators with Social Security.  Its dedication focused on avoiding work accidents and occupational diseases adds to its desire to spread healthy lifestyle habits and recommendations that help the working population take care of their health. But it is a common thought that those who seek to develop adequate prevention of occupational risks, generally adopt “life risk prevention” for their daily life, for their care and self-protection.

On World Breast Cancer Day,

The importance of being informed about possible warning signs, of going to medical appointments, of self-examination, of being more aware if risk factors are present (such as personal history in first-degree relatives, high breast density, early date of the first menstruation, late menopause, absence of pregnancy, alcohol consumption and obesity) can make the difference between an early diagnosis and a late one, with all the implications that this entails.

Different scientific societies estimate that in our workplace each year more than 10,000 working women overcome breast cancer and are able to return to an active working life, which represents personal, health, social and business success.

Of course, also a great scientific success, since medical advances to stop this process come hand in hand with greater knowledge on the part of pathology researchers, given that the specificities of the different types of tumors imply different behaviors of the disease, with changing characteristics.
