Prevention subsidies in Cantabria

The Official Gazette of Cantabria (BOC) published last Monday the order of the Ministry of Industry, Employment, Innovation and Commerce calling for aid, worth 319,000 euros, for the carrying out of activities in the field of occupational risk prevention aimed at promoting the improvement of safety and health conditions at work, especially in small companies.

Specifically, the actions may be informational, that is, all those that seek to disseminate among workers and employers the principles of preventive action against occupational risks or the specific rules for the application of such principles. Also technical assistance actions, that is, those that are aimed at the study and resolution of problems, derived from the practical and material application of preventive actions, as well as actions to promote compliance with the regulations on the prevention of occupational risks, that is, those that promote the knowledge and application by employers and workers of the legal, regulatory and conventional provisions regarding the prevention of occupational risks, especially, through mechanisms and instruments developed in the sectoral and territorial areas of the activity. productive.

The time frame during which the subsidized actions may be carried out is between July 1, 2024 and June 30, 2025, and the deadline for submitting applications will be 10 business days, counted from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the BOC.
