Prevention subsidy in Cantabria

The Official Gazette of Cantabria has published on May 2 Extract from the Order of the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment of April 9, 2019, by which subsidies are called to promote the activities of entities dedicated to risk prevention labor.

Object: these subsidies are intended, for the year 2019, under a competitive competition regime, to development of the activities that in the field of occupational risk prevention are carried out by the social and economic agents of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria distinguishing between social agents with less union representation and more representative social agents with greater institutional participation.

Beneficiary entities:
a) For the aid of art. 1.a): the union organizations that do not meet the status of most representative in accordance with the provisions of article 7 of Organic Law 11/85, of August 2, on Freedom of Association.
b) For the aid of art. 1.b): union organizations that meet the status of the most representative in accordance with the provisions of article 7 of Organic Law 11/85, of August 2, on Freedom of Association.
c) For the aid of art. 1.b): the most representative business organizations, in accordance with the Sixth Additional Provision of Royal Legislative Decree 1/1995, of March 24, which approves the Workers' Statute, and the Law of Cantabria 4/2009, of December 1.

Amount of aid: a maximum amount of 250,000 euros, distributed as follows: 50,000 euros for the subsidies in section a) and 200,000 euros for the subsidies in section b), being, in turn, subdivided into: 84,000 euros for the most representative business organizations and 116,000 euros for the most representative trade union organizations.

Deadline: the deadline for submitting applications will be twenty business days, starting from the day following the day of publication in the Official Gazette of Cantabria.
