Prevention subsidy in La Rioja

The Official Gazette of La Rioja has published the Resolution of March 14, 2019 of the Economic Development Agency of La Rioja approving the 2019 call for subsidies destined for the Ssafety at work program under regime of competitive concurrence.

Beneficiary entities: public, semi-public or private companies and organizations that provide services to companies, as well as business groups, with the exceptions provided for in section 1, point 2.1) of the call.

Subsidized actions: those actions linked to the identification and elimination or reduction of risks for people in the workplace will be subsidized, through the implementation of improvements in the processes and facilities of the organizations in order to increase the levels of safety at work such as adaptation of facilities and/or work areas and investments in accessibility and ergonomics.

Expenses such as expert consulting by technical entities, implementation of new elements linked to improving safety, hiring of technological professionals by SMEs or expenses linked to the safe removal of asbestos or materials that contain it may be subsidized.

Amount of aid: the amount of available credit: 300,000 euros arranged in first, second and third periods of 200,000 and 50,000 €.

Deadline: the call will be open with the following calendar of application submission deadlines: a pfirst period from the entry into force of the call until May 31, 2019. The second period from June 1 to September 30, 2019 and finally a third period from October 1 to December 16, 2019.
