Preventive Culture Webinar Video: "Current situation of ORP responsibility in the courts"
After a work accident or occupational disease, up to four judicial procedures can arise to demand liability, and these procedures can range from sanctions or surcharges against the company, to the accusation of management/managers and prevention professionals.
For this reason, it is important to know the current situation in the courts, especially in the criminal aspect, and to reflect on the duration of the cases, the number of people investigated, the importance of the accident investigation, the percentage of convictions and compliances, consequences in the personal sphere, etc. At PRL we must ensure strict compliance with prevention and protection measures, and looking the other way not only does not exonerate, but implies tolerance and co-responsibility with non-compliance.
To clarify all these issues, we held a webinar titled: "Current situation of ORP liability in the courts. From economic sanction to criminal prosecution" and which included as a guest Andreu Sánchez García, a lawyer specialized in prevention.
