Priority activities based on accidents in 2021
The INSST together with the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy have just published the report _"Priority activities based on accidents 2021" which focuses on the prioritization of activities to combat accidents and economic activity based on two parameters that are the ATJT incidence rate and the number of workers who carry out their work in an activity concrete.
Prioritization is done with three different approaches:
- In the first section, all accidents during the work day (ATJT) that resulted in sick leave (minor, serious and fatal) are considered, referring to the entire population affiliated with the covered work accident contingency.
- The second section addresses the analysis of priority activities based on the ATJT and population, differentiating by sex.
- Finally, in the third section, focused on severity, prioritization is carried out considering only ATJTs with serious or fatal consequences. That is, the most dangerous activities are prioritized taking as a reference the entire population affiliated with the covered work accident contingency.
At Fraternidad-Muprespa we work with the priority objective of reducing the accident rate of our mutual members and to disseminate this message we have the website Previene in which we have numerous audiovisual material that we encourage you to consult with different sections of manuals, brochures, articles, events, infographics or videos where we offer a broad vision of the risks that may exist in the work environment and preventive measures to avoid them.
