PRL in the preparation and assembly of fallaes and bonfires

The traditional Valencian festival of Fallas is being celebrated these days and it is therefore a perfect time to recover a document prepared last year by the Valencian Institute of Safety and Health at Work (Invassat) entitled: "Guide to prevention of occupational risks in the preparation and assembly of fallaes and bonfires"

This guide was the result of exhaustive field and bibliographic work that has allowed the analysis of the risk factors that affect workers in the sector, both in the design and construction phase of the falla or bonfire, as well as during its transportation and its final assembly on the street known as “plantà”. This analysis made it possible to develop a series of recommendations and good preventive practices aimed at improving occupational health and safety conditions in the workplace.
