Psychosocial risk factors in working on digital platforms

The National Institute of Safety and Health at Work has just published the informative document: "Psychosocial risk factors at work on digital platforms".

This informative document collects the psychosocial risk factors most present in platform work, summarizes what is understood by this type of employment, what characterizes platform workers in Spain, what challenges the work poses for health and safety, what occupational risks are linked to it and what are the main recommendations of international organizations on this issue.

The work is presented in ten short chapters in which the results of the Technical Study are summarized schematically and in a simple way: "Challenges of digitalization for safety and health at work: the emergence of psychosocial risks and the work of digital platforms" edited by the INSST in 2023 and its purpose is to raise awareness and disseminate the knowledge generated in the field of work on digital platforms for workers, employers or representatives of both.
