Public subsidies on Occupational Safety in Castilla y León
On February 26, 2019, two regional orders with the granting of public subsidies in the area of Occupational Health and Safety were published in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León.
First of all, the Order EMP/151/2019, of February 14,, which modifies Order EMP/1116/2016, of December 29, which establishes the bases for the granting of public subsidies aimed at improving health and safety conditions at work through the integration of occupational risk prevention in the company.
The agricultural sector has been classified in recent years by the State Observatory of Working Conditions as a priority for the development of preventive policies. Therefore, it is intended to specify, within program I of this order, the adaptation of tractors through the acquisition and installation of tractor rollover risk warning devices.
This regulation modifies the annex to Order EMP/1116/2016, of December 29, which establishes the regulatory bases for the granting of public subsidies aimed at improving health and safety conditions at work and the main eligible activity is the acquisition, adaptation or renewal of work equipment.
Order EMP/152/2019, of February 18, which modifies Order EMP/278/2018, of March 8, which establishes the regulatory bases for the granting of public subsidies aimed at the carrying out actions to promote occupational health and safety and updating higher-level prevention technicians or assimilated by the Public Universities of the Autonomous Community of Castilla y León.
In order to improve the granting of subsidies for actions to promote occupational health and safety and to update prevention technicians, the number of actions that can be requested by each University is increased and the evaluation criteria are modified in order to weight the implementation of actions in different university districts.
