Recognitions for prevention from the Community of Madrid

The Community of Madrid through the Regional Institute of Safety and Health at Work, will grant for the third time recognitions in the field of prevention of occupational risks with the aim of implementing a preventive culture and encouraging technical solutions that contribute to the improvement of safety, health and well-being conditions at work.

This edition is aimed at communication and participation actions and actions in prevention of occupational risks carried out by the participating entities and natural or legal persons, public or private, may be beneficiaries of the recognition as long as they have at least one employed worker with economic activity in the Community of Madrid and in work centers located in its territorial area.

Two categories are established for the recognition of good preventive practices:

• Companies or entities with a workforce between 1 and 50 workers.
• Companies or entities with a workforce of more than 50 workers.

For each of the categories described, a first prize and two special mentions from the jury will be awarded to all applicants who attend and meet the required conditions to those who are finalists.

The deadline to submit applications is valid until May 29, 2019.
