Recommendations for action in workplaces in the event of external emergencies

The Valencian Institute of Safety and Health at Work (INVASSAT) has recently published the informative document entitled: "Basic recommendations for action in workplaces in the event of external emergencies."

This material aims to help those responsible for workplaces to establish and implement prevention measures to guarantee the safety and health of workers in emergency situations caused by external risks and with the idea that it also allows them to comply with that indicated in article 20 of the Occupational Risk Prevention Law.

Various types of risks are considered, both natural and technological, and preventive recommendations are offered to take into account before, during and after an emergency, all in order to counteract possible negative effects and protect all working personnel.
