Noise has hidden costs and damages the health of exposed people, which is why the National Institute of Safety and Health at Work (INSST) has recently published a brochure entitled: "Silent purchase: Recommendations for employers".

This is a version in diptych format of a text with recommendations for the acquisition of work machinery that aims to update a previous edition in brochure format with more precise wording and that seeks to help companies buy or rent less noisy machines and to comply with legal obligations in this matter with the motto: "Don't bring a noise problem to your company, buy machines silent".
