These days we have two Autonomous Communities in our country that launch awards and recognitions in terms of occupational risk prevention for companies in their region.

The Region of Murcia launches the “Antonio Ruiz Giménez” awards, for good practices in prevention and innovation and promotion of preventive culture, aimed at publicly recognizing those natural and legal persons who have stood out for the effectiveness and operability of their actions in our field and who have contributed appropriately to the implementation of effective preventive systems, to the promotion and consolidation of the preventive culture in said community.

All private and public companies that have developed activities, studies or works of special significance in the field of prevention in the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia may attend and the deadline for submitting applications will be 6 months from the publication of the resolution on February 15.

For its part, in the Basque Country and through Osalan, Basque Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, awards are underway to recognize good practices for the integration of occupational risk prevention in the company management system.

The awards consist of two categories for companies with less than 50 workers, which will compete in the small business category, while companies with 50 or more workers will compete in the large business category. The award will consist of an accrediting diploma and a plaque or a commemorative figure and will not have a financial award and the deadline for submitting applications is open until March 26.

Those companies or entities located in the Autonomous Community of Euskadi will be eligible for the award for good practices for the integration of occupational risk prevention in the company's management system.
