Report of actions of the IX Prevention Week of Fraternidad-Muprespa
On the occasion of World Day for Safety and Health at Work,Fraternidad-Muprespa celebrated between April 15 and 30 IX Prevention Week with the motto:“Secure work, your first objective”, which revolved around the third golden rule of Vision Zero:“Define goals, develop programs” aligning ourselves with the new Spanish Occupational Health and Safety Strategy 2023-2027 and the EU Strategic Framework.
To summarize everything we have done, we have prepared a report that includes the most relevant actions that were carried out during those days, with about a hundred shares, in some 200 companies, which have fallen on a group of approximately 4,000 people.

A notable part has been the celebration of numerous actions throughout Spain in which numerous mutual companies have participated through S afety days, J technical ceremonies, events with institutions, occupational road safety workshops with immersive virtual reality or dissemination of prevention content in the media through articles or interviews. In carrying out these actions, together with our mutual members, We have also collaborated with important entities, such as the Junta of Andalusia, he Cantabrian Institute of Safety and Health at Work, the Valencian Institute of Safety and Health at Work, the Labor Inspection of A Coruña or business associations such as CEOE or CAEB.
Other key moments of our week was the delivery, on the 23rd at the Hospital Fraternidad-Muprespa Havana, of the Escolástico Zaldívar Awards, which were celebrating their tenth anniversary, and in which four mutual companies, Hempel Paintings, Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum, Balboa Siderúrgica and Kaefer Industrial Services, They won first prizes for their good preventive practices. Twelve other companies received an honorable mention, three in each category. In addition, two extraordinary prizes were awarded: Manel Bestraten received the award for professional excellence and International Labor Organization that granted to the Entity or Organization committed to prevention.
We also want to remember the MWebinar start "Safe work, your first objective" in which they participated Marta Vadillo, Managing Partner at Contexto, who spoke about the “OKR Method or how to achieve ambitious objectives in companies”; Oriol Lopez, Tech Project Manager at Prevencontrol, who focused on the keys and tools to focus and control strategic indicators of safety and health at work; and Bruno Perez leaderfrom the Data Science and AI Department of Easy Tech Global.
The special edition of Fratertalk On the occasion of Prevention Week, it was titled: “Safety is our goal,” with Tony Nadallike i Exceptional guest. The tennis coach and Sports Technical Director of the Rafa Nadal Academy, In this space he shared numerous tips about the importance of defining goals, establishing a good strategy or how to manage success and failure.
In the field of social networks and new to this edition, a live session was held on Instagram about Vision Zero to make this campaign better known, and the Video Forum Cycle on Youtube, which brought together videos on the seven golden rules and five new awareness spots.
In summary the IX Prevention Week 2024 Not only did it consist of celebrating World OSH Day, but it has been a unique opportunity to position ourselves as leaders in generating a preventive culture with our mutual members. And for them it has been a turning point in their preventive management since they have openly demonstrated, in some cases for the first time, the management's commitment to the safety and health of their teams, an essential step to provoke changes towards a sustainable reduction in their accident rate.
