Report on the migrant worker population, sociodemographic profile and accident rate
The INSST published this summer an interesting report from the State Observatory of Working Conditions titled: "Migrant worker population: sociodemographic profile and accident rate".
The work addresses the need established in one of the lines of action of the Spanish Strategy for Safety and Health at Work currently in force, to improve the protection of mobile and migrant workers, including temporary workers, to analyze data on work accidents by nationality and sector of activity in order to promote actions in the groups with the highest incidence.
The report seeks to understand and evaluate the accident rate and existing working conditions for the migrant worker population in Spain. To do this, the most relevant aspects are analyzed in relation to the demographic structure and the accident rate of said group.
