Report on the state of health and safety in Spain in recent years
At the end of last year, the INSST presented the document titled: "Report on the state of occupational health and safety in Spain 2021-2022".
The work collects information related to the state of the health and safety situation in Spain during the years 2021 and 2022 and its priority objective is to make available to the interested public, in a condensed form, the information that allows them to know first-hand the actions that in the indicated period have been carried out by the Public Administration as well as the results obtained with respect to professional contingencies provided by the CEPROSS system (Communication of Occupational Diseases in Social Security) and PANOTRATTS (Social Security Non-Traumatic Pathologies).
On the part of public institutions, the action carried out by the INSST as a specialized technical scientific body of the General Administration of the State is included in its mission to analyze and study the conditions of safety and health at work. The State Labor and Social Security Inspection Agency reports on the activity of inspection and control of safety and health and in the same way the evolution of accidents is recorded from a criminal point of view with the information presented by the Special Prosecutor's Office.
