Safe motorcycle driving in winter
We are in winter and in some parts of the country we are still suffering the consequences of the latest storms and snow storms in recent weeks. In this context and with the aim of reducing work-related road accidents, it is important to remember that we must be especially careful these days if we travel by motorcycle when going to or returning from work.
For this reason, the General Directorate of Traffic has presented a video titled On a motorcycle and in bad weather in which offers advice and recommendations to remember that in bad weather, the stability and adhesion of the motorcycle to the asphalt decrease considerably and therefore traveling by motorcycle can be much more dangerous.
Although every day of the year we must always maintain all the caution in the world when going out on the road, the weather conditions in winter force us to take maximum care of precautions, so we must remember that with the motorbike in winter, to have a safe and quiet trip, it is necessary to have adequate visibility for the rider and passenger, proper maintenance of the motorcycle, appropriate warm and protective clothing and always be careful on the road.
We remind you that at Fraternidad-Muprespa we have a large number of infographics and brochures on our portal Previene with topics related to occupational road safety that we encourage you to consult to disseminate in your company with the purpose is to reduce road accidents at work.
